Section Elections - The election results are in. President-Elect is Keith Rapp (2009 President), Vice President is Dan Hunter (2008). Secretary-Treasurer is Susan Mickus (2008-2009) and Director is Tim Grape (2008-2009). A big thanks to Damon Powers for his very successful tour as President, Vanessa Demuth as Vice President, and a HUGE thanks to Trey Howard who has served as Secretary-Treasurer for many years. AIPG was founded in 1963 to certify the credentials of practicing geologists and to advocate on behalf of the geologic profession. The science of geology is vital to the interests of the nation and in order to best protect public health, safety, welfare, and the environment. AIPG is an organization of qualified geologists dedicated to this mission.
