The Maltby Nature Preserve is a 90-acre wildlife
sanctuary and environmental education facility located on the Cannon
River between Northfield and Cannon Falls in southeastern Minnesota.
The Preserve is a learning laboratory, a place for students and teachers
to observe, explore, experiment and then communicate their understanding
