Director of Global Environmental Affairs

SUMMARY
The Director of Global Environmental Affairs for Oshkosh Corporation (“Company”) is responsible for developing and overseeing the Company’s global environmental management function. This includes leading and directing the environmental elements of the Corporate Sustainability Program, global compliance with all applicable environmental laws and regulations, oversight and management of the environmental risks at all business units, globally; the identification and implementation of appropriate cost and waste reduction initiatives; environmental strategic support for the organization.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Manage Company’s environmental program in accordance with applicable environmental laws and regulations
2. Manage and/or support initiatives leading to the reduction of costs and waste
3. Ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
4. Develop Company’s environmental policies and foster a corporate culture of environmental compliance
5. Plan, organize and provide leadership for the Company’s implementation of a Corporate Sustainability Program
6. Develop and maintain systems and processes to be utilized across all business units as appropriate
7. Acquire and maintain expertise with regard to global environmental legislation and trends
8. Manage overall budget for environmental initiatives and functions

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor’s degree in related field
• 10-plus years related experience

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Master’s degree in related field
• Broad knowledge of environmental laws and regulations required, including local, state, and federal environmental laws
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
